Our mud mixing hopper is a directly injected mixer of the additive material of drilling fluid. It is mainly used to mix drilling fluid and additives quickly and uniformly to improve drilling fluid's performance. It also can have shearing and hydration system with shear pump. We have two models with metric and British system.
In the meantime of configuration or the increase of drilling fluid volume, changing the drilling fluid density, viscosity, water loss and so on, drilling fluid materials (bentonite, barite powder) and the corresponding chemical additives (polymer) are needed in the circulation tank. mud mixing hopper can increase the liquid in the tube shear force, improve the dispersion effect and the mixing liquid pressure head, so that the material in the tank can be fully mixed, then make better effect when it's used with shear pump.
